South Luzon Thermal Energy Corp. (SLTEC) is a joint venture of AC Energy, Phinma Energy, and Marubeni Corporation’s Axia Power Holdings Philippines Corporation. Commercial operations for the first unit of the 2 X 122MW Circulating Fluidized Bed thermal plant started in April 2015, while the second unit was completed in February 2016. SLTEC operates as a baseload plant to meet the power demand in Luzon.
